Scheme of merit cum means based scholarship to students belonging to Minority Communities |

To provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students belonging to the minority communities ie. Muslims, Christians, Jains, Buddhists, Sikhs and Parsis. |

| Scholarships given to students studying Technical or Professional courses at Undergraduate (BE, B.Tech, B.Arch, BTech (Agri), BSc (Agri), BVSc&AH, MBBS, BDS, BUMS, BAMS, BHMS, BNYS,) / Post graduate (ME, MTech, MD, MS, MDS, MCA, MBA, MSc (Agri), MVSc&AH ) in an recognized institution. |

The annual income of the student parent or guardian of student should not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh from all sources. |
||
| 30% of scholarships will be reserved for girls in each Minority Community. |
||
Students residing in karnataka will be entitled for scholarship irrespective of his place of study. |
||
Rate of scholarship is Rs.20,000/- per annum or actual, wichever is less . Full fees for students studying in specified premier institutions like IIT, IIS, IIM NIMHANS etc. |
||
| Maintenance Allowance for 10 months will be given at the rate of Rs. 10,000/- per annum (Rs.1000 p.m) for students staying in hostels & at the rate of Rs.5,000/- per annum (Rs.500 p.m) for day scholars. |
||
Grant of scholarships is subject to conditions specified in the scheme. |
